During the corona lockdown in early 2020, Aarhus-based drummer and songwriter Tommy Ulstrup Christensen wanted to form a band inspired by 80s rock/AOR/hard rock.
And so Streamliner was born!
The band has got members from all around the world, all with a common love for 80s inspired AOR/hard rock music, and its (for now) not a touring band, but a studio project.
Members from Denmark, UK, USA, Russia, Chile, Argentina, Brazil and Australia all join forces in Streamliner, to bring you the best AOR/hard rock music!
First release was ‘Moving On From You’, released on June 7 2020, featuring Ged Cartwright as the vocalist.
On August 7 2020 the second single ‘Trying My Best (To Stop Missing You)’ was released on all major streaming platforms. Also with Ged Cartwright. Only Me To Blame features Skagarack guitarist Jan Petersen.
December 2023 has seen the release of two new songs: Restless Heart and Break Down The Barricades. Songs featuring Bobby Miller as vocalist.
Later in 2024 the brand new song ‘Speak No Evil’ will be out, a song with much more powerful and heavy sound than earlier tracks.
Regular members of Streamliner are guitarist/keys: Jon Power, bass: Casper Olsen, Helle Klein, guitars/keys: Roman Farafontov, vocals: Bobby Miller. On top of that, various other musicians tribute to Streamliner songs
